Loreto Aprutino is my favourite town in Abruzzo. It is in the Pescara province, about 30 minutes from the city of Pescara by car. I was very lucky to be able to spend a good bit of time there, earlier this year. Over the coming weeks I’ll write more about Loreto Aprutino, and also show many more photographs.
Today I just want to let you know about the “Vinum et Oleum” event happening there this weekend (6, 7, 8 December 2008). It is chance to taste local delicacies in the historic centre of Loreto Aprutino. The program details are here in Italian and English: Vinum et Oleum 2008. I believe the entrance fee is €10 based on this text in the program “La quota d’ingresso all’evento è di 10 Euro.”
Unfortunately I cannot be there myself, but you can be certain that I wish I could!
