Abruzzo Calendar 2011 – January Update – Grazie Mille

With only one month to go before I take the calendar off the market I’ve received the latest revenue payment from Lulu. So how are the sales of the Abruzzo 2011 Calendar progressing?

(If the preview above does not display in your browser please click here.)

Well so far 18 calendars have been sold and that will result in €90 (€5 per calendar) being donated to the Italian Red Cross.

Yesterday I received an email from Lulu with the proceeds of all sales for December 2011. Although 18 calendars have been sold in total (3 sold in October, 11 in November,  already covered by my November and December updates) yesterday I only received the monies for those sold in December which amounted to 3 calendars, resulting in €15 profit.

So the first chance I had I donated €15 to Croce Rossa Italiana specifying that the money was for the Abruzzo Earthquake Fund.

I expect to receive the monies for the remaining sold calendars at the end of February, around the time I take the calendar off the market.

So if you want to make a contribution, and have a nice souvenir of Abruzzo hanging on your wall, remember that this is the last month you’ll have a chance to buy the Abruzzo 2011 calendar.

Here is the text of the email I received after I made the donation on your behalf – those of you who bought copies of the calendar deserve the thanks expressed here far more than I:
