I entered a short story competition recently. I hadn’t written a short story since I was in school and I admit the first prize of €10,000 was a big encouragement. I didn’t win. Heigh-ho!
The guideline was to write 450 words about what truly matters.
My effort touched on Abruzzo and a wonderful person I knew all too briefly.
Some of you who read this blog may be aware that I write another blog called Blog of Good Cheer which doesn’t usually have any connection with Abruzzo.
