For quite a while now I’ve been looking forward to the chance of visiting Spoltore again. The last time I was there I broke one of my rules of travel; never go anywhere without a camera. I’d passed through Spoltore quite a few times. Whenever I’ve been based in Loreto Aprutino and had to make a trip [...] I’d passed by Il Casolare (the farmhouse) many times before I finally stopped to have lunch there. I’d heard good things about it from my friends in Loreto but I never tried it. Because it’s on the route of a walk I do regularly in order to try to stay healthy, stopping there and eating [...] This is a post of three parts, all related by olive oil.
