We’re in the middle of summer and I’ve not written about Pineto yet! That makes no sense at all. What’s really odd is I may have left it until summer was well and truly over before I wrote about one of my favourite Abruzzo beaches. It is a small seaside town, which acts as a good base for exploring the rest of Abruzzo. It is about 8km from Pescara and about 8km from Pescara airport.
