The first time I saw Pescara I took the not very long bus trip from Francavilla al Mare and wandered around the city on foot. It was a Sunday, the sun was shining, the sky was blue and the beach looked beautiful. Pescara seemed quiet, almost empty, lacking in activity and the buzz that goes [...] It started with a chance meeting and later it became a tiny obsession, a little itch that needed to be scratched. The meeting was with Gaetano of Vestina News and the obsession was the word Vestina. I first met Gaetano during the summer as I tried to find the best vantage point to take photographs [...] Back in December 2008 I wrote a post indicating that the Giro d’Italia was coming to Abruzzo.
